Alissa Rivero is an aspiring developmental psychologist, currently working with Dr. Michael Tomasello and Dr. Dorsa Amir at Duke University. Her current research explore the cognitive signatures of childhood, and how adults may undermine children's cognitive strengths. She is particularly interested in how social learning and creative insight intersect to give rise to innovations and adaptations.
